Sawmill chips are a product obtained through wood processing, serving as a substitute for bark. They are a by products resulting from production processes and find application not only in biomass production. Our sawmill chips are the outcome of wood shredding using specialized chipping machines that operate in our sawmills. Sawmill chips are characterized by a high calorific value and minimal contaminants such as sand or bark. Sawmill chips are a resource that is well-suited for use in power plants, pellet production, or the manufacturing of chipboard.

The size of the sawmill chips ranges from 5 to 50 mm. The energy value of wet sawmill chips is approximately 9 MJ/kg, while for dry chips, it reaches an approximate value of 16.5 MJ/kg.
