Sawdust
Wholesale distribution of sawdust
Sawdust is a natural byproduct resulting from wood processing, characterized by minimal amounts of bark and sand. This leads to obtaining clean, ecological, and uniform biomass. The production process involves cutting and milling wood at the sawmill. The energy value of wet sawdust is approximately 8 MJ/kg, while for dry sawdust, it reaches around 15 MJ/kg. However, it’s important to note that these values are approximate, as the wood species from which the sawdust originates also affects their precise energy value. Harder wood species typically have higher calorific values.
Sawdust is a valuable fuel material that is ideally suited for the production of pellets that meet DINplus standards.
